Net Zero Cost and Zero Emissions
In a sunny display of collective action to improve the local environment, Chester Community Energy has targeted community building's as sites for solar pv systems. In this way, renewable energy will not just reduce local emissions, it will eventually return the investment with in energy savings, contributing to future work for community benefit. The model is to supply the full service and finance for solar panels with the organisation benefitting paying the cost back from their resultant energy savings. In future, this model is intended for application in schools, social housing, for home-owners and small businesses. In this way net-zero energy supports positive social change.
